Post subject: can't see ted over remote desktop

Frequently when I use TED I'm remoting into my media server to make sure torrents are downloading etc. When I do this it's using RDP in Windows. TED has issues displaying properly over an RDP connection. The "experience' on the RDP conn is set to max. TED still won't refresh its window. Instead it just shows what is underneath it and still shows that when I move it around.
Is there a way to fix this? TED is the only program having this issue.
