Would it be possible to document how builds are created?

I see the ant build.xml, but it just copies the jar around. How is the dmg created?

Also the "runnable ted" jardesc files contains local directory paths.

Thanks

We have one, hidden on the wiki

The windows guide is outdated though, we now use Bitrock installer with an open-source license to create windows installers.

For linux, we don't make installers since we don't use linux and are unfamiliar with the installation process. But Bitrock could in theory create installer packages for linux as well.

We should eventually look into a way to automate this process a little. The process looks a little winded to me.

What exactly should be automated? The way the jar/dmg is created or the copying around of files by hand? We don't create a new jar that often so it doesn't bother me that much right now.

If you know a better way, please let us know.

I guess I'm just lazy when it comes to copying files around. :D

A script of some sort could bundle the steps together. Might not be worth it.
