I spend a half an hour a few weeks ago going through my whole show list, deleting mininova and removing all the size filtering. A real pain in the ass.

I noticed this morning that I hadn't downloaded a couple of shows in awhile and when I looked at the config, it had reverted! I had to spend another half hour doing the same work again and now it's actually finding torrents again.

That's when I noticed the "Update Filters and Schedules" checkbox. It had undone all my work. Fair enough, it's my own fault for not seeing it.

But my question is, what is the point of this checkbox? Why would I want my filters updated?

Also, why is it tied to schedules? In my case, the default filters are worthless, but I'd like to maintain the scheduling. However, now I can't because the two are updated together.

Perhaps in the next version they could be separated.

If for example Mininova changes the address of their rss feeds ted is useless. Therefor we've this option to update the predefined feeds so we can fix ted without having to release a new version.

Euhm, I think the text of this checkbox is incorrect. The schedule part refers to the old schedulers which are now removed. This text will be adjusted in the next version!

Separating "Filters" from "Feeds" would be good as well. But I'm happy to learn the schedules will be accurate even though I have that update unchecked! Thanks!
