You can download ted from our download page. Once you have downloaded ted to your harddisk, install ted.

If you downloaded the windows installer, just start the ted setup.exe and ted will install or upgrade himself.
On mac, drag the ted app to your applications folder. Or to upgrade, drag the ted app over the existing ted app in your applications folder.
Unpack the zip archive with any zip unpacking application. To upgrade; unpack ted over your existing ted.
Ted only downloads .torrent files for the episodes. Ted does not download the episodes himself. You need a bittorrent client that can download the episodes. Make sure you have got one before you run ted. Otherwise ted is a little useless :)
When you upgrade ted to a newer version, all your shows and settings will remain intact! You could always backup teds datafiles (settings.ted and shows.ted) to be safe.
