Keyword filter

From Ted wiki

You can use the keyword filtering feature of ted to filter out unwanted torrents from a specific feed. This can be unwanted formats, unwanted release groups or unwanted shownames.

The keyword filtering system is really simple. You seperate words that you want to filter on with & (AND), | (OR) and ! (NOT). Also you have to put two of those between brackets when you want to combine several keywords.

Some examples

  • If you are using a general feed from a torrentsite, you can use the keyword filtering system to only use torrents from one show. So for instance, if you only want episodes from Lost, you fill in: Lost in the keyword textbox.
  • If you only want to download episodes from Lost in HDTV quality, you fill in (Lost & HDTV)
  • Maybe you only want to download torrents that are in Xvid OR Divx format. Then you fill in (xvid | divx).
  • If you combine the last two, to find Lost episodes, in HDTV quality either in xvid or divx, you get: ((Lost & HDTV) & (xvid | divx)).
  • To filter for ipod or psp and dvd or not hdtv enter: ((ipod | psp) & (dvd | !hdtv))
  • If you do not want any French or Czech episodes, enter: !(french | czech). If you just want to download French episodes, enter (french). Beware: translated episodes are rare so you might want to lower the seeder filter for this show.
