Developers build, with recommended latest XML jar files fails with following error:

Exception in thread "main" java.lang.NullPointerException
at ted.datastructures.StandardStructure.compareDateTo(Unknown Source)
at ted.TedSerie.compareTo(Unknown Source)
at ted.tools.Sorter.isSmaller(Unknown Source)
at ted.tools.Sorter.partition(Unknown Source)
at ted.tools.Sorter.quicksort(Unknown Source)
at ted.tools.Sorter.sortTable(Unknown Source)
at ted.TedTableModel.sortTable(Unknown Source)
at ted.TedTable.sort(Unknown Source)
at ted.TedTable.setSeries(Unknown Source)
at ted.TedMainDialog.initGUI(Unknown Source)
at ted.TedMainDialog.<init>(Unknown Source)
at ted.TedMain.main(Unknown Source)

version 0.96 works fine

Does it not work at all or just prints out this message?

And what OS do you use?

ted.exe does nothing. I had to run development build in cmd with java -jar ted.jar to see what's going on. It takes about a second to load (just blinking cursor) and then ted fails with that exception. I do have new shows_clean.xml file and 2 new xml library files. OS is Windows XP.

I followed up on this thread and it worked. I'm using OSX and was having troubles with xtremespeeds.

So while the official release doesn't have a fix for the private trackers, just follow the instructions on the Development Wiki (as Jofo said).

I'm using the new development version but still it is dowloading torrents from xtremespeeds.net. What am I doing wrong?

Using the mac version (it still says 0.96, but the new HD support is included)

Do you also have the latest version of the shows list?

is it possible to rename the file you posted to txt or something. the browser seems to execute or translate it. it is showing some weird stuff. in chrome it shows in one long line

36 btjunkie http://btjunkie.org/rss.xml?query=#NAME# http://btjunkie.org 5 isoHunt http://www.isohunt.com/js/rss/#NAME#?iht=3 http://www.isohunt.com/ 5 Mininova http://www.mininova.org/rss/#NAME#/8 http://www.mininova.org 5 EZRSS http://ezrss.it/search/index.php?show_name=#NAME#&mode=rss http://ezrss.it/ 5 Torrentreactor http://www.torrentreactor.net/browse.php?id=8 http://www.torrentreactor.net/ 1 BushTorrent http://www.bushtorrent.com/browse.php?id=8 http://www.bushtorrent.com/ 1 The Pirate Bay http://rss.thepiratebay.org/205 http://www.thepiratebay.org/ 2 Torrent Portal ...

in internet explorer, i get the message "feed format not supported", and it shows a blank page.

firefox seems to display what seems to look like xml, but it shows a dash (-) in every paragraph. is this part of a valid xml syntax?

All of a sudden a flood of these seem to be coming through. Is that because they are hiding this better? I very rarely got these, but have had at least 10 this week so far? Is there any way that TED can not download a torrent til on or after the air date, as these are all coming through the day before the actual air date (or 12 hours+)?
