I have used TED for a long time and a couple of monts back it quit loading when I clicked to bring it up---Nothing it's like it isn't even there.
I've uninstalled it redownloaded and I get the same effect!

Does anyone know whats wrong ?

This thread is a little old. But maybe it'll help some one else. I had the same trouble.

Try this...

Assuming windows...

launch cmd.exe
navigate to TED program install directory
make sure java is in your %PATH%
java -jar ted.jar

if ted launches, this is a good start...
if ted doesn't launch, then you won't be able to export your tv programs

export you programs from ted so that you can restore them later
navigate through the TED menu's and make note of all our configurations

Uninstall TED
download recent TED

Navigate to program files directory and rename the ted install directory
navigate to %APPDATA% and search for "torrent episode downloader" and rename that directory

install TED
set your preferences, and import your programs

see if it works now, you should probably reboot and see if it starts

if you couldn't export your tv programs in the earlier step, then you might go to the %APPDATA% ted directory you renamed earlier and copy over the config files from there
