Problem with private tracker RSS feed

I am using a private torrent site to get an RSS feed. The RSS feed is of the general form, much like pirate-bay. I've configure everything right, and the log file shows that TED receives and parses everything quite OK.
The problem is that TED tries to translate it, and sends it to urltranslator.php on your site.

I have to add this site to the translator. Are the urls in the feed pointing directly to the torrents? Or do they point to an info page?

Yes, they are pointing directly to the torrent file.

The feed I gave him points directly to the torrent file but he seems to have translated it somehow and ended up with a HTML page

EDIT: I also use the tracker refered by zoriksh and ted seems to work fine with it

hmm ted removes the name argument from the url. not sure why he does that. I will try to fix that somewhere this week.

Hello,
I have been using TED for quite some time now and I must say THANK YOU! It has made my life so much easier and I really appreciate all the hard work you put into it.

I do have one request? I use scenetorrents.org for all of my TV show needs because of their fast speeds and how quickly new shows are updated (sometimes before they even air in the US).

I have been playing around with adding an RSS feed of their site to TED and it doesn't seem to be working.

The RSS feed is

http://www.scenetorrents.org/rss.php?passkey=<my_passkey>

This will list all of the content on the site and then I can use TED keywords to define what I want.

Would it be possible for you to add support for this site?

I have tracker that works with a passkey exactly as scenetorrents. Can TED handle this? I've tried with the RSS-feed but it seems that TED finds the torrent but not download it.

How does TED handle torrents? I've read in the forum that TED "translate" the torrent before downloading it. But why? Is it because TED wants to see the file-size and number of seeders? Can I disable the "translate"-fase?

the translate phase is needed because the torrentlinks in the RSS feeds not always point to torrent files, for most websites they point to information pages. ted translates these links to the webpages into links to torrent files.

we can disable this translation per website, so please post the links as they are posted in the rss feed, and check if they link directly to a torrent file (otherwise, try to find out how the links to the files look so we can 'translate'). we can then add them to the translation part of ted (which is a webservice so you dont need to install a new version)
