This is a fantastic program that just gets better and better. tks

I believe this bug was mentioned in an earlier post, but was never resolved.

I have several programs showing "on Hiatus" that I know are not. When I force a check for these shows, the current episode is found, but the show moves back to Hiatus status.

Here are the current offenders:
Fringe
Defying Gravity
Sanctuary

I'm sure you are aware of this bug, I'm just asking for an update.

BTW: Love the new features.

I think you need to check your info -- because I don't see any more episodes of fringe scheduled.

And, defying gravity appears to be cancelled, but I see there's some disagreement about what episodes have played or not.

Not saying there isn't a bug, but I think you need to get your facts straight first.

As I already indicated in my post, this was a follow up an earlier bug report that was never resolved.

I guess I should have included more details:

These are the Facts:

Each week since these shows have premiered I have manually forced a "check episodes", and successfully downloaded each new episode, even though they are "on hiatus" status.

"Sanctuary" listing from Epguides.com

Season 3

22. 3- 1 9 Oct 09 End of Nights (1)
23. 3- 2 16 Oct 09 End of Nights (2)
24. 3- 3 23 Oct 09 Eulogy
25. 3- 4 30 Oct 09 Hero
26. 3- 5 6 Nov 09 Pavor Nocturnus
27. 3- 6 13 Nov 09 Fragments
28. 3- 7 20 Nov 09 Veritas
29. 3- 8 Next Tuesday
30. 3- 9 Penance

Sanctuary is still listed in TED as "on Hiatus".

Get the facts first. You can distort them later.

I can't really speak to the other two,
but I *am* having to manually "check now" defying gravity.
However I know there is some kind of airing info disagreement
because tv.com and epguides shows different info.

And this has only started for me since, episode 10?
Which is where the "branching" of difference of guides happened.

As far as the behaviour I'm seeing for myself, this isn't a bug.

You may want to check the tvrage and epguides info in ted
to try and determine whether its actually a bug or just scheduling info
being wrong.

If you have determined which site shows the right schedule, you can remove the other by removing the ID from the schedules tab. If you then click 'Refresh now' ted will only use the schedule from the site which still has an ID filled in.

I'm having the same problem with Greek. And when I try to delete Greek from the Epguides ID schedule line and click "refresh now" it just puts Greek back in Epguides ID line. Even though I put Greek in the TVRage line (which shows the correct schedule).

Note episodes are still airing: http://www.tvrage.com/Greek
And here: http://www.epguides.com/greek/

I noticed that when I put Greek in the TVRage ID line it goes to TV rage looking for: http://www.tvrage.com/shows/id-Greek/, but that is not the correct address! See the link above, it does not have '/id-greek.' That still does not explain whey I cannot remove the entry from the EPguide line.

Thanks so much.
With a little tinkering this solved my problems.

BTW: I just saved the modification in the schedules tab. When I "refreshed", both sites refreshed.

Try This:
In the Schedule Tab, don't "Refresh", just delete the site to exclude and "Save".

I had to delete the entry I didn't want and "Save", not "refresh".
This worked whereas "refresh" updated both entires.

As I understand from roel's explanation, this is not a bug for "TED". But it definitely bugged me!

This bug is reoccuring -- but the solution no longer works. When I click "Refresh now" or "save" the missing ID fills back in.

I am currently looking at Lie to Me (19295) but have seen it with others.

Thank bixtool. I dont know why others are having this problem, but refreshing solved the problems for me. So stoked to watch greek now:)

Archer was showing as incorrectly on hiatus as well. I added the TVRage ID and it started working. However, epguides wasn't showing it as on hiatus. So TED was being buggy. The show has been off hiatus for weeks.

I can confirm this issue on "Castle." Epguides correctly lists the next several weeks of episodes, but TED incorrectly reports it as "on hiatus." It would seem to me that TED is improperly parsing the data from Epguides.
