I had to manually download NCIS and NCIS Los Angeles this morning. From ezrss.it. Both include the feed on the definition, although NCIS Los Angeles was problematic, since they actually refer to it as NCIS LA, which I've added to the list of feeds (just in case they aren't consistent...) But the feed when I looked at it certainly had the regular NCIS listed, and while Ted found another feed that had it, that feed was having issues.

OK, looking at the detailed log, it choked on the UDP protocol.

Which is rather funny as I check on the trackers of what's downloading now -- all the UDP protocols on all three torrents have timed out. The HTTP ones are doing just fine.

I don't know if it would be possible to check for UDP and replace with HTTP and have it work either. :/ Or you just need to throw them out, period.

OK, looking at the feed, the issue is actually with the torrent, not the feed.

The torrent has both http: and udp: protocols, at least in the one torrent I downloaded.

So it looks like for the next release, you need to check if the URL is UDP, skip it, since Java won't take it, and keep looking for http: links.

Easy! A two minute fix! LOL!

Actually, I've probably done the hard part. Figuring out where the udp:/http: issue actually is, in the feed or the torrent itself. Or not.

At least I know enough to go digging and be specific instead of complaining that it just doesn't work. :D

ezrss.it, which works from the web, just isn't working. TED doesn't find the feed. Now, I haven't updated the Java yet (just finished downloading), so I'll update and see if that doesn't fix things.

OK, it appears that the ezrss.it feed IS working. The problem is that the track then pulls in http://torrent.zoink.it/Merlin.S03E05.R ... 5D.torrent, which then gives me from the log:
Oct 26, 2010 @ 2:48 PM: Error getting trackerstate for torrent Merlin.S03E05.REPACK.WS.PDTV.XviD-RiVER.avi Exception message=[net.sf.torrentsniffer.bencoding.BencodingException: java.net.ConnectException: Connection refused: connect]

Downloading the link starts the torrent.

Vertor.com isn't connecting either, for some reason.

OK, I regenerated the feeds.

Hmmm. btjunkie is no longer a public tracker. The feed points to the download page instead of the torrent (or gets redirected), and even trying to download from the page, it forces me to login. So btjunkie is next to useless.

isohunt is returning something, but.. Ah, not enough seeders. OK, that's easy enough to fix.

Vertor.com works from the front page. But the feed isn't working. Ah, I just looked again and saw that they are having issues. Nevermind!

Looks like I should regenerate my feeds on the problematic shows, and actually grok what the errors are.

I would have been nice if my computer hadn't been shut off three days after leaving for three weeks... All because somebody jiggled the power cord enough to come out of the power supply.
