I suppose it would have been nice if the developers of Ted notified me before they started using my service. I don't really have a problem with it, but I noticed it simply doesn't work. It somewhat gives my service a bad name, because of the fact that it doesn't work.

If anything, a simple "hey, we're using your service," would have been nice. I could have helped out getting the feeds working as well.

hey,

I'm sorry that we didn't contact you about ted using your feed service. I was not aware that tvrss.net feeds were not working. In fact, it's hard for us to keep up with all the changes torrentwebsites make to their feeds.. Maybe it's a good idea to let all sites that ted uses know that we depend on their feeds and it is handy for us when feeds keep the same format.

I'll try to fix the parsing of tvrss.net feeds somewhere this weekend

It would be really cool if you could contact me when you work on them. HackMaster posted about show-specific feeds. My site does them better than most. The reason for this, is because my site does processing on the title. There's a crucial element missing from the URLs though... &show_name_exact=true.

If you contact me, I can go over how the site works and how we could include specific functionality in ted for my site.

honestly, i did not even think about asking you!

tvRSS does not work with Ted because Ted is not coded to accept it. I am sorry that we are giving your service a bad name, but I have been using your service for a while, and I decided to let other people know how nice it is.

I take full blame for this.

EDIT: I was just thinking, are you worried about TED's impact on your server? if necessary, I an mirror your service somehow. I have a couple of servers that could be used.

I just wanted to say I had more luck with using this feed:
http://tvrss.net/search/index.php?show_ ... mat=legacy
than the one included in ted: http://tvrss.net/search/index.php?show_ ... e&mode=rss.
