Hi,

Do you have a roadmap? I would really like to know when to expect the next version as this one has great potential, but is lacking some features I really "need".

My request list atm is:
* Specify download directory per torrent
* Event based scripting (when download complete, do ***. etc)
* Columns in the main view for sorting purposes. I have two views I like - 1. Ascending according to name, 2. according to "next air date"
* "Calendar view" to let the user see which days of the week the shows are airing
* To let the program run as a service, and let the fontend query the service instead of running as a program

I think this is it.

BTW: This program is excellent! If it hadn't been I wouldn't have bothered to try finding stuff I would like to see ;)

Cheers,

Lars

P.S. I believe I said "need", not need :p

These are not yet on the road map. We'll see if we if are going to add them to the roadmap. A lot to do and little time available :)

These will probably be both included in the next release of ted.

Cool! Thanks for the reply :)

Do you have a time estimate for the next release? Do you know if this project can be ported to run on some of the smaller processor Linux devices out there? Specifically, I would love it to run on my Popcorn Hour (Syabas) media player...

The boring answer is that it's done when it's done. We both have a full time job nowadays and we want to have some kind of social life next to that so we don't have/make as much time to work on this as when we were in college.

That said, most features have been implemented. We want to do a few tweaks on the UI, do some last minute testing, sit in the sun, ... ;)It could take one month, it could take 2 or 3 as well.

I don't know Popcorn Hour but if it supports Java than you could run it on it. I don't think ted is really processor intensive it's more memory intensive as you've to run the Java Virtual Machine.
