Okay, after trying a bunch of solutions, I finally figured out something that appears to work well.

I tested it in eclipse, after deleting the resources (~/.m2/repository), and it appears to work, but let me know if it gives you any trouble.

I got everything working now. Unfortunately I had to do one manual extra step to get it working from Eclipse: it seems that the OS specific JDIC folders are not copied to the Maven repository so ted will crash at runtime.
As I'm on Windows I had to copy
trunk\ted-core\lib\org\jdesktop\JDIC\windows\
to
.m2\repository\org\jdesktop\JDIC\0.8.4\windows

And then everything works. I also tested making a package and that works fine!

I can't get TED to run after the update. Anyone else seeing this?

I just tried it and it works for me. What exactly is your error message?

FYI: I didn't do much lately on the development of ted. All other stuff keeps popping up. I wanted to do something in the Christmas vacation but I haven't got round to it. Maybe in the coming days :)

Ok... Got it working now.

Sure wish we didn't have that JDIC dependency. :(

I recognize the problem :)I'm very proud of myself that I succeeded in doing so this weekend and actually did something useful for ted!
