Because of Vista's and Windows 7 strict security systems, you have to install ted differently. These are things we are going to solve for future versions, but for now, please take the following step:
- The default folder where ted will store it's torrent files is "C:\Program Files\Torrent Episode Downloader\". While this works great on Windows XP, ted is not allowed to write there in Vista/Windows 7. He cannot download any torrents. Please change the directory in the preferences to a folder in your user folder, like "My Documents"
